If the solar charging controller is unable to charge the battery within one day to its full capacity, the status of the battery constantly changes between "partially charged" and "end of discharge". This operating mode (no regular charging) damages a lead-saucle battery within a few weeks or months.
The Battery-Life Algorithm monitors the charging status of the battery and if necessary, it lifts the threshold to separate the load every day (i.e. the load is separated earlier) until the energy obtained is sufficient to charge the battery to almost 100 %.
