BYD high-voltage battery storage HVS, HVM and HVB
BYD builds modular high-voltage battery systems for photovoltaic systems. In this collection you will find the HVS, HVM and HVB series as complete battery boxes, as control unit sets and as individual modules for expansion. It is aimed at homeowners, installers and commercial businesses.
The decisive factor is the desired capacity, which you set via the number of modules. Compatibility with your inverter is also important, because not every device supports every battery series. Also plan for space and installation location, and check whether you want to expand later.
Our offer includes HVS+ with 5.1 to 12.8 kWh, HVM+ with 8.3 to 22.1 kWh and HVB with 5.94 to 29.69 kWh, as well as battery modules and control units.
The designations contain the capacity: HVS+ 7.7 stands for around 7.7 kWh, HVM+ 13.8 for around 13.8 kWh. We offer individual battery modules separately, for example with 2.5 or 2.56 kWh. This allows an existing system to be expanded.

How do HVS, HVM and HVB differ?
The series differ in module size, capacity levels and area of use. The product pages state the values for each variant. We are happy to advise you on matching them to your inverter.
Can I expand the battery later?
The systems are modular, so capacity can be increased within the manufacturer's limits by adding modules. How many modules your setup allows depends on the series.
Do I need a control unit and base?
Yes, a battery system needs a control unit (BCU) that manages the modules. It is included with the complete boxes, but not with individual modules. Pay attention to the scope of delivery.
