everHome EcoTracker: keep an eye on your electricity consumption
The everHome EcoTracker records electricity consumption and feed-in and displays the values in an app. It is aimed at homeowners with a photovoltaic system or balcony power plant (plug-in solar system) who want to understand their energy flow better and control their self-consumption.
First you should check how your electricity meter can be read. The variant IR in the product name refers to a version for a specific reading method; the details and meter compatibility are stated on the product page. Integration into your Wi-Fi and the connection to your smart home system or inverter are also important.
Our range includes the everHome EcoTracker IR as a smart home control element in version 2.0.
When using it, bear in mind that a measuring device only supplies data. To switch loads selectively, you also need switchable sockets or relays, for example from our Smart home collection. The combination depends on your goal, whether saving, evaluating or controlling.
After setup, consumption values can be tracked and devices switched according to surplus, provided your components support this function. We are happy to discuss whether the EcoTracker suits your setup on +49 931 760 260 40 or by email at kontakt@energie24.shop.
Frequently asked questions
Which meter can the EcoTracker read?
That depends on the interface of your meter and the variant of the device. Modern metering devices often offer an optical interface. Check the manufacturer's compatibility list or ask us.
Do I need Wi-Fi?
A connection to the home network is generally used for the app display and evaluation. Range at the meter location in the cellar is often weak. Check reception before you mount the device permanently.
Does an electrician have to do the installation?
Depending on the variant, the device is only attached to the meter or integrated into the installation. Work in the meter cabinet and on live parts is reserved for qualified electricians.
