Important information on disposal and dealing with batteries

As a dealer of batteries or devices that contain batteries, we are obliged to inform our customers about the following according to the German battery laws:

1. Disposal of old batteries:

Batteries and batteries must not be disposed of in household waste because they may contain pollutants that can damage environmental and health. Customers are legally obliged to return old batteries. You can return this free of charge after use in our sales point, in a municipal collection point or on site.

2. Labeling of batteries:

If batteries are marked with the symbol of a crossed -out garbage can, this means that they must not be put in household waste. Under this character you will also find the chemical symbols CD (cadmium), HG (mercury) or PB (lead) if the battery contains more than 0.0005 mass percent mercury, more than 0.002 mass percent cadmium or more than 0.004 mass percent lead.

3. Return and recycling:

Consumers can return batteries that you have received from us free of charge after use or send them back to us sufficiently by post (return address: NeueEnergie24, Raiffeisenstr. 8, 97209 Veitshöchheim).

4. Meaning of the battery symbols:

Batteries are marked with the symbol of a crossed -out garbage can (see above). This symbol indicates that batteries must not be added to household waste. For batteries that contain more than 0.0005 mass percentage mercury, more than 0.002 mass percent cadmium or more than 0.004 mass percent lead, the chemical symbol of the pollutant used-"CD" stands for cadmium, "PB" stands for lead, and "HG" for mercury. "
