The HUAWEI LUNA2000-21-S1 is a modular high-voltage home storage unit from the LUNA2000-S1 series that allows up to 20.7 kWh of usable capacity in one unit. It uses lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cell chemistry with an integrated Module+ optimizer for increased usable energy and allows independent management at module level. The storage unit is equipped with a passive temperature control system (without a fan) that ensures reliable function in heat and cold. It has protection class IP66, so it can be used weatherproof outdoors or indoors. The safety architecture comprises 5 protection levels (cells, electrical level, structure, active and emergency protection measures) as well as an intelligent fire-extinguishing system per module. Wireless connections between modules are provided for mounting and scaling, which makes installation easier. The HUAWEI LUNA2000-C1 is the central control and power unit (power module / control unit) of the LUNA2000-S1 storage system, which handles the connection between the battery modules and the high-voltage grid. It converts the DC voltages of the battery to the required high-voltage DC level and controls charging and discharging processes efficiently.
