Accessibility Statement

NeueEnergie24 GmbH wants its online shop www.energie24.shop to be usable by everyone. In accordance with Section 14 of the Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG), this statement explains how our offering meets the accessibility requirements.

Description of the service

We operate an online shop for photovoltaic and energy technology. You can view and search for products, fill a shopping cart, order and pay, use a customer account, download product documents and contact us. The contract is concluded online during the ordering process (distance selling). We describe payment, shipping and withdrawal on our information pages (Payment methods, Shipping, Withdrawal policy).

Status of compliance with the requirements

Our online shop is partially compliant with the requirements of the Accessibility Ordinance (BFSGV) and the standard EN 301 549 (web content according to WCAG 2.1, level AA). In October 2026 we carried out an internal spot-check review (home page, categories, product pages, shopping cart, search, menu, start of the ordering process). A complete review by an independent body has not been carried out.

How our offering meets the requirements

The pages adapt to the screen size and can also be used on mobile devices without horizontal scrolling.
Product images have text alternatives.
Skip links lead directly to the main content; the keyboard focus is visible.

Known limitations

Some links and controls, for example breadcrumb navigation and text links on mobile devices, have a small click area.
The menu button permanently shows a focus frame when the page loads.
The chat button has weak color contrast and, when the cookie banner is open on mobile devices, may partially cover controls.
The customer account login, parts of the ordering process (checkout) and the cookie banner are provided by our shop system provider Shopify. We can influence their structure only to a limited extent and have not fully reviewed them.
Product documents in PDF format come predominantly from the manufacturers. They are not accessible in all cases.
Some headings appear twice (for example on category pages), and some interface texts contain language errors.
The page "Anlagenplanung" and some information pages contain embedded styling that may impair presentation in assistive technologies (not conclusively reviewed).

We are working to resolve these points and will review our offering again when changes are made.
