Load balancing standard, i.e. the charging station automatically distributes the available power among the vehicles to be charged. The charger analyzes the available capacity and how much power the vehicles need. The intelligent electronics in the ICU then distribute power based on the maximum capacity of the port. With the system, electric vehicles can always be charged, even if the system has a limited capacity. This means there is no need to make expensive investments in a more powerful system.
Smart Charging Network allows the integration of up to 100 single or 50 double socket charging points at a single location. These communicate with each other in a non-hierarchical mesh network to ensure optimal load distribution at all times and eliminate the dependency on a single "master" unit to function correctly.
Back office E-Flux. The Alfen charging stations can now also be ordered with the E-Flux eMobility platform. This integration makes the installation of an Alfen charging station with the E-Flux eMobility platform plug & play. After installation, the charging station is visible in the portal and the owner can set charging tariffs and view charging processes. The costs for guest consumption at the charging station are billed via the E-Flux eMobility platform, in this case via E-Flux. The EV Charging Station NS 22 kW (MPN: EVC200300200) from Victron Energy is a powerful electric vehicle charging station that you can operate with both 3-phase and 1-phase. It delivers an impressive 22kW of AC power in 3-phase operation, while a solid 7.3kW is still available in 1-phase mode. Although technically identical to the EV Charging Station, the new version is characterized by a modern design, which is available in 3 different colors. Setup, configuration and monitoring are conveniently done from VictronConnect via Bluetooth and/or the integrated web interface, accessible via a WiFi access point or WiFi LAN.
Furthermore, a GX device can be integrated, allowing you to control it remotely. What's particularly notable is that excess solar energy is used directly to charge your vehicle. Manual and timed modes provide additional flexibility to meet the needs of the electric vehicle, power system and your overall electric mobility.

Service. Control and display
A single glance in the VictronConnect app or via Bluetooth gives you full control and overview of all operating parameters and statistics. Furthermore, a Cerbo-GX communication center can optionally be used for remote monitoring. The charging station is equipped with a fully programmable RGB light ring around the charging port, allowing the status of the device to be seen at a glance. Using the integrated web interface, this light ring can be individually configured to display different lighting effects according to the current status (disconnected, charged, in use, etc.).
Operating modes
Manual mode for configuring the output current: In manual mode, it is possible to flexibly configure the output current in the range of 6 to 32 A. The charging power can be controlled in various ways. Either via the web interface, from a GX device and VRM remote monitoring, or via VictronConnect. This makes it easy to initiate or stop the charging process manually as soon as a vehicle is connected to the charging station.Optional GX device for VRM remote monitoring:

Automatic mode to ensure maximum efficiency of the PV system: The charging station automatically detects when excess energy is available and only uses it to charge the vehicle. Instead of energy loss that would occur if excess energy were lost, it is instead stored in the vehicle's battery.Timed mode to charge the vehicle at specific times: Thanks to a fully programmable timer, the vehicle can be charged at different times. For example, during the night when network costs are lower.

This Alfen EV charger is already configured and includes the following configurations:
RFID Reader supports user identification.
Load balancing standard, i.e. the charging station automatically distributes the available power among the vehicles to be charged. The charger analyzes the available capacity and how much power the vehicles need. The intelligent electronics in the ICU then distribute power based on the maximum capacity of the port. With the system, electric vehicles can always be charged, even if the system has a limited capacity. This means there is no need to make expensive investments in a more powerful system.
Smart Charging Network allows the integration of up to 100 single or 50 double socket charging points at a single location. These communicate with each other in a non-hierarchical mesh network to ensure optimal load distribution at all times and eliminate the dependency on a single "master" unit to function correctly.
Back office E-Flux. The Alfen charging stations can now also be ordered with the E-Flux eMobility platform. This integration makes the installation of an Alfen charging station with the E-Flux eMobility platform plug & play. After installation, the charging station is visible in the portal and the owner can set charging tariffs and view charging processes. The costs for guest consumption at the charging station are billed via the E-Flux eMobility platform, in this case via E-Flux. For Alfen charging stations that are already connected to ICU Connect as a back office, E-Flux can take over the billing of the charging processes.
