The KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter (KSEM) is an energy meter with a wide range of functions. Thanks to the additional computing power in the device, it is technically prepared for future functions and tasks and offers the optimal solution for all KOSTAL inverters. A big advantage of the KSEM is the standard pre-configuration for the PLENTICORE plus, PIKO IQ and PIKO MP plus. This means that a direct installation is possible without adjusting the parameters and other settings. KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter optimal use of energy The KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter enables optimal use of energy in the household. With the energy meter, a 3-phase energy measurement takes place in real time. The measurement data is transmitted to the inverters via standard interfaces. The KSEM thus supports the energy management of the KOSTAL inverters PLENTICORE plus, PLENTICORE BI, PIKO IQ and PIKO MP plus. In conjunction with a PIKO 4.2 - 20 or PIKO 36 EPC, the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter is a replacement for the PIKO BA sensor. The inverters can be set up in the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter with the aim of maximizing your own solar consumption and displaying your own/house consumption in the solar portal. To do this, the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter must be integrated into the KOSTAL solar portal.

The robust housing allows safe use indoors and outdoors. An LED display on the front of the housing provides quick and clear information about all important status messages and shows charging mode. The features of the KOSTAL Wallbox are also impressive: the 7.5 meter long charging cable included in delivery leaves enough space to refuel the electric vehicle within easy reach. The type 2 charging plug for the vehicle connection is matched to the charging point in the common Mode 3. The ENCTOR delivers 3.7 kW or 11 kW in one to three phases, with a current of up to 16 amperes pro phase. Whether with or without a solar system: The KOSTAL Wallbox refuels your electric car from all available energy sources. Battery-friendly and fast charging is what matters and that is exactly one of the great strengths of the KOSTAL Wallbox. In conjunction with the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter, optional convenience functions are also available. In power mode, ENCTOR focuses on fast charging with the maximum available power. Lock mode blocks the charging function from unwanted use. The two solar charging modes “Solar Pure Mode” and “Solar Plus Mode” are particularly efficient. In Solar Pure Mode, you only charge with self-produced solar power. You can only load as much as is currently available. In Solar Plus Mode, the charging power is adjusted to minimize the grid power consumption. It can be taken into account whether the energy from a connected battery storage system is used or not.
