The Kostal Smart Energy Meter (KSEM) is an energy meter with a wide range of functions. Thanks to additional computing power in the device, it is technically prepared for future functions and tasks and offers the optimal solution for all Kostal inverters.
A great advantage of the KSEM is the standard preliminary configuration for the Plenticore Plus, Piko IQ and Piko MP Plus. This means that direct installation is possible without adapting the parameters and other settings.
Kostal Smart Energy Meter Optimal energy use
The Kostal Smart Energy meter enables optimal use of energy in the household. With the energy meter there is a 3-phase energy measurement in real time. The measurement data is transmitted via standard interfaces to the inverters.
The KSEM thus supports the energy management of Kostal inverter Plenticore Plus, Plenticore BI, Piko IQ and Piko MP Plus. In conjunction with a PIKO 4.2 - 20 or Piko 36 EPC, the Kostal Smart Energy Meter is a replacement for the Piko BA Sensor.
The inverters can be set up in the Kostal Smart Energy meter with the aim of solar self-maximization and the display of the own/house consumption in the solar portal. To do this, the Kostal Smart Energy meter must be integrated into the Kostal solar portal.
