The KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter (KSEM) is an energy meter with a wide range of functions. Thanks to additional computing power in the device, it is technically prepared for future functions and tasks and offers the optimal solution for all KOSTAL inverters.
A major advantage of the KSEM is the standard pre-configuration for the PLENTICORE plus, PIKO IQ and PIKO MP plus. This means direct installation is possible without adjusting parameters or making further settings.
The KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter enables optimal use of energy in the household. With the energy meter, 3-phase energy measurement takes place in real time. The measurement data is transmitted to the inverters via standard interfaces.
This allows the KSEM to support the energy management of KOSTAL PLENTICORE plus, PLENTICORE BI, PIKO IQ and PIKO MP plus inverters. In combination with a PIKO 4.2 - 20 or PIKO 36 EPC, the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter is a replacement for the PIKO BA Sensor.
The inverters can be set up in the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter with the aim of maximizing solar self-consumption and displaying own/household consumption in the solar portal. For this, the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter must be integrated into the KOSTAL Solar Portal.
