Cost effectiveness

PVBoost
The SMA 3PH EV Charger 22 uses a combination of grid and solar power to provide single-phase charging up to 7.4 kW, which is almost twice as fast as traditional charging stations.
Automatic phase switching
This switching allows maximum use of the available power by starting with a single-phase charge up to 7.4 kW and then switching to three-phase charging for larger solar capacities.
Surge protection
This safety feature protects the main house connection from overloading. If multiple appliances are running at the same time, it can potentially exceed the amount your connection can handle, overloading the system. The safety in this charger dynamically adjusts the charging power to the maximum available level.
