The SMA 3PH EV Charger 22 is a charger for electric vehicles. It can be integrated effortlessly into existing PV systems and built into new systems. The charger is cost-effective and features PV boost, automatic phase switching and overload protection. Together with the Sunny Home Manager 2.0 and the Energy App, there are many options for setting up the system exactly as desired.

Cost effectiveness

Conventional chargers do not use small amounts of solar capacity, for example in the early morning and evening hours. This is due to the standardized minimum charging power of electric vehicles. This charger optimizes the use of this energy from just 1.3 kW.

PV Boost

The SMA 3PH EV Charger 22 uses a combination of grid and solar energy to charge at up to 7.4 kW single-phase, which is almost twice as fast as conventional charging stations.

Automatic phase switching

This switching enables maximum use of the available power by starting with single-phase charging at up to 7.4 kW and then switching to three-phase charging for larger solar capacities.

Overload protection

This safety function protects the main house connection from overload. When several appliances are operated at the same time, this may exceed the amount your connection can handle, overloading the system. The safety feature in this charger dynamically adjusts the charging power to the maximum available level.

Integration with SMA Energy

System owners have all relevant information available at all times. Current information on the charging process and maximum control by configuring the charging mode. With the SMA 3PH EV Charger 22 you can, for example, give certain devices priority over others or set a time by which your car should be charged, and the process starts automatically.

    When will my order be delivered?
    • Standard shipping: 1-3 working days
    • International shipping: 3-10 working days
    • Freight shipping: 4-14 working days

    Unless a different delivery period is stated in our offer, we usually ship the goods within Germany between 2 and 7
    days after conclusion of the contract. This also applies if advance payment has been agreed, in which case the time of your payment instruction is decisive.
