The 3 kW screw-in heater was developed especially for use with the AC•THOR photovoltaic power manager and the 9 kW screw-in heater was developed for use with the AC•THOR 9s photovoltaic power manager. The screw-in heaters can be installed in fresh water and buffer tanks. Their special design means that the heating elements are subjected to very low thermal surface loads, which directly contributes to increasing the product's service life.R or AC•THOR 9s

The desired hot water temperature can be set using a rotary knob. The AC•THOR or AC•THOR 9s detects the switch-off and automatically goes into standby mode for minimal power consumption.
A regulatory safety temperature limiter is of course integrated.
However, some projects require higher temperatures, for example when a buffer tank is to be charged to over 90°C. For this purpose, screw-in heaters are also available without a thermostat, only with a safety temperature limiter. In any case, the temperature sensor included with the AC•THOR and the AC•THOR 9s must be used to end the heating process.
