Citel Citel PV junction box with Type 2 SPD (CiPlug1-51-1)
The CITEL CiPlug String Box is specially designed for small to medium-sized solar systems. This box offers a solution to provide protection against overvoltages and voltage spikes on the DC side. With its compact dimensions, the CiPlug is ideal for roof installations in residential buildings. The CiPlug String Box is equipped with pre-assembled PV cables with MC4 connectors, which ensures quick and easy installation. With its maximum system voltage (Ucpv) of 1200 Vdc, it is suitable for any common configuration and protects the MPP tracker of the inverter from this PV box. Depending on the configuration, the CiPlug meets the normative requirements for all types of buildings with or without an external lightning protection system up to lightning protection class I (Iimp = 12.5 kA / pole (10/350)).

With its small dimensions, the CiPlug is ideal for rooftop systems in the residential sector. The CiPlug has pre-assembled PV cables that are equipped with MC4 connectors, enabling particularly quick and easy installation.
