Air conditioners: split wall units for cooling
Air conditioners provide pleasant temperatures in summer in living spaces, offices and workshops. Here you will find split wall units, in which an indoor unit on the wall and an outdoor unit are mounted separately. The offer is aimed at private customers, tradespeople and businesses.
The decisive factor is the output in relation to the room. Room size, insulation, window area and solar radiation determine the cooling demand. Also pay attention to the noise level of the indoor and outdoor units and to whether the unit is also suitable for heating; the product page gives this information.
Our range includes models from the FLY series by Kaisai with 2.6, 3.5, 5.3 and 7.0 kW rated power.
Another point is the location of the outdoor unit. It needs air to work, should be easily accessible and should not disturb neighbours. In rented flats and owners' associations, clarify permission in advance before having pipes routed through the façade.
The installation of split units, in particular handling the refrigerant, generally requires a specialist company. If you have questions about the right output, call us on +49 931 760 260 40 or write to kontakt@energie24.shop.
Frequently asked questions
What output suits my room?
That cannot be determined by the square metres alone. Insulation, orientation and heat sources in the room also play a part. Describe your situation to us and we will give you some guidance; the exact design is carried out by your specialist company.
Can I install a split unit myself?
Generally not. Laying the refrigerant lines and commissioning require expertise and special tools. Commission a refrigeration or air conditioning specialist so that the unit and warranty are not put at risk.
How loud is an air conditioner?
That differs depending on the model and operating level. You will find the manufacturer's noise level data on the respective product page. For bedrooms it is worth paying particular attention to this and placing the outdoor unit carefully.
