The BYD 2.56 kWh HVS battery module is a sophisticated energy storage product designed for use in the BYD Battery Box Premium HVS home battery. It is a modular design that allows storage capacity to be expanded as needed by simply adding more modules. This premium battery module is equipped with a long-life lithium iron phosphate battery that has a battery efficiency of over 96% and is compatible with leading PV inverters, making it suitable for use with high-performance inverters

An individual HVS battery module can drive up to five modules in series in a battery tower, and for greater storage capacity it is possible to cascade up to three such battery towers to achieve a total of 38.4 kWh.
The dimensions of the module are 585x233x298 mm and it weighs 38 kg, and it has a nominal voltage of 102.4 volts with a usable capacity of 2.56 kWh per module. In addition, the module is specified with a maximum output current of 25 A and a peak output current of 50 A for 5 seconds, which underlines its high performance and reliability. It has an IP 55 protection class, which makes it dust and splash-proof.
