Description
The Schneider Electric Acti9 iC60N is designed as a low voltage installation circuit breaker and is ideal for use in both residential and industrial applications. It is a single-pole installation circuit breaker with one protected pole, equipped with a nominal current of 40A and a C tripping characteristic. The Acti9 iC60N installation circuit breaker is characterized by a breaking capacity of 6000A at 230VAC - in accordance with the domestic standard EN/IEC 60898-1 - and an increased capacity of up to 10kA at a voltage of 220-240VAC in accordance with the industrial standard EN/IEC 60947-2.
This installation circuit breaker offers optimal protection for electrical circuits, with protection against short circuits and overload currents. The device includes the innovative VisiTrip indicator, which facilitates the identification of the tripped circuit breaker by clearly marking it. Thanks to the VisiSafe technology, characterized by the green indicator, the physical separation of the contacts is confirmed, allowing safe maintenance downstream.
The design of the iC60N aims at durability and ease of use. With an electrical life of up to 10,000 cycles and a mechanical life of up to 20,000 cycles, this Schneider Electric installation circuit breaker guarantees long-lasting performance. The circuit breaker supports a nominal insulation voltage Ui of 500VAC and falls into limitation class 3 according to EN/IEC 60898-1, which significantly reduces the cost of protecting the circuit.
