The GoodWe GW5000-ES-20 G2 is a single-phase low-voltage hybrid inverter of the ES G2 series for residential photovoltaic systems with battery storage. The series combines PV generation, grid operation, battery charging and backup supply in one compact device. With 5,000 W rated power and two independent MPP trackers, the model is suited to panel areas facing in different directions. The battery connection works with 48-V lithium-ion storage units in the voltage range of 40 to 60 V and supports up to 120 A charge and discharge current. In the event of a power outage, the ES G2 series switches to the backup output in less than 10 ms and continuously provides up to 5,000 VA for the GW5000-ES-20. Plug-and-play connections, passive cooling, protection rating IP65 and app monitoring make installation and operation easier.
The GoodWe GW5000-ES-20 G2 combines a single-phase PV inverter, a powerful battery connection and a fast backup function. The model is suitable for residential solar systems in which self-consumption, energy storage and security of supply are to be combined.
