  The BYD 2.56 kWh HVS battery module is a highly developed energy storage product designed for use in the BYD-Battery Box Premium HVS home battery. It is a modular design that makes it possible to expand the storage capacity if necessary by simply adding additional modules. This premium battery module is equipped with a long-lasting lithium-iron-phosphate battery, which has a battery efficiency of over 96 % and is compatible with leading PV versions, which makes it suitable for use with powerful versectors. An individual HVS battery module can operate up to five modules in a row in a battery tower, and for larger storage capacity it is possible to cascade up to three such battery towers in order to a total of 38.4 kWh to reach. The dimensions of the module are 585x23x298 mm at a weight of 38 kg, and it has a nominal voltage of 102.4 volts with a usable capacity of 2.56 kWh pro Module. In addition, the module with a maximum output current of 25 A and a peak output current of 50 A is specified for 5 seconds, which underlines the high performance and reliability. It has protection class IP 55, which makes it dust and splash-proof. Modular growth: Easy to add modules to expand the storage capacity, perfect for the gradual expansion of the home storage solution. Highly efficient: Over 96 % battery efficiency with compatibility to leading PV clients, optimized for use in powerful systems. Extended storage options: Possibility of cascading several battery towers for a total capacity of up to 38.4 kWh. Robust and safe construction: Durable lithium-iron-phosphate cells with a protection class of IP 55, suitable for demanding environments.
