Description

The Fronius Reserva BMS & Basis forms the heart of the Reserva storage system and takes over battery management and basic control for the high-voltage system. It is designed for connecting 2 to 5 reserve modules pro Tower (capacities from 6.3 to 15.8 kWh) and also allows the parallel operation of up to four towers. The BMS controller optimizes charging and discharging processes, monitors cells and protects against overcurrent, overvoltage and short circuit. With protection class IP65, the device is suitable for protected outdoor areas and indoor spaces. The communication interface is via RS485, which enables integration into PV systems. The combination with Fronius GEN24 Plus hybrid inverters creates a low-loss and efficient system.
