The Victron Energy SmartSolar MPPT 100/30 30A 12V/24V solar charge controller (MPN SCC110030210) is the new version of the BlueSolar 100/30. The Smart version differs from the Blue version mainly in its permanently integrated Bluetooth communication module. This allows the SmartSolar charge controller to be fully monitored and analysed on any app-capable device. The required Victron Connect app can be installed free of charge. The optional MPPT WireBox-M from Victron Energy is the ideal addition to your SmartSolar charge controller. It safely covers the cable entries and connection terminals of the controller and protects them from external influences and accidental contact.

Compared with the 75/10, 75/15 and 100/15 models, the SmartSolar 100/30 MPPT features overheating protection with a shutdown function and automatic restart once a normal operating temperature is reached.
VE.Direct data communication port
In text mode, VE.Direct transmits all important parameters every second to other devices coupled to the charge controller, making communication with accessories such as the Victron GX Color Control Panel possible. The VE.Direct port is intended for products where full CAN bus integration (VE.Direct) would cause excessive costs.
High-speed latest-generation MPP tracker
Especially under overcast skies, when the light intensity changes constantly, an extremely fast MPPT controller increases the energy yield by up to 30 % compared with PWM charge controllers and by up to 10 % compared with slower MPPT controllers. In addition, the 100/30 offers several other innovative technologies such as the VE.Direct communication port.
Options for programming, real-time data and history display
Modern Apple and Android smartphones, tablets, MacBooks and other devices can be connected, for example, via the integrated Bluetooth Smart dongles and the MPPT app or the GX Color Control. Please note that Bluetooth Smart dongles and the GX Color Control are separate items that are not included in the scope of delivery of the charge controller but can be purchased from us as options.
Flexible charging algorithms
Fully programmable charging algorithm (please also see the software page on our website) and eight preprogrammed algorithms that can be selected using a rotary switch (further details can be found in our manual).
