The Victron Orion-Tr 12/24-5 is an isolated DC DC voltage converter and provides a regulated DC voltage and thus trouble-free operation of your DC loads. The unit converts the DC input voltage (8-17V) into an adjustable output voltage (18-30V) and delivers a constant continuous current of 5A, which corresponds to a power of 120W. This allows you to supply every 12V load with exactly the right voltage. For many sensitive electronic devices, maintaining the exact operating voltage is essential for flawless operation. The Orion-Tr 12/24-5 also supports parallel connection with identical units and has a remotely controllable on/off switch.

DC-DC converters of the Orion family generate a clean output voltage in the range of 18 - 30V DC from a 12V power source and compensate for any cable losses as well as fluctuations in battery voltage.

Remotely controllable on/off switch

Thanks to the remote on/off connection, a high-current switch in the input wiring is no longer necessary. The remote on/off connection can be controlled with a power-saving switch or by the engine's run/stop switch (see manual).

Can be connected in parallel to increase the output current

An unlimited number of identical units can be connected in parallel to increase the output power.
