The Blue Smart IP65 12/15 12V 230V battery charger (BPC121532064R) is the latest professional charger from Victron Energy with built-in Bluetooth. It is designed for charging 12V batteries of many different types and delivers a maximum charging current of 15A. Together with the free VictronConnect app, you can easily and smartly monitor the activity of your battery charger via your smartphone, tablet or computer, and even configure it to a certain extent.

Ultra-high-efficiency battery charger
With an efficiency of up to 95%, these chargers generate three to four times less heat than the industry standard. And once the battery is fully charged, power consumption drops to 0.5 watts, which is five to ten times better than the industry standard.

Reconditioning
A lead-acid battery that has not been charged sufficiently, or that has been left in a discharged state for days or weeks, loses performance due to sulphation. If the process is stopped in time, the sulphation can be partially reversed by charging the battery with a low current until a higher voltage has been reached.
Function for restoring completely discharged batteries
Most chargers with reverse polarity protection do not detect a battery that has been discharged to zero volts or almost zero volts, and therefore do not recharge it. The Blue Power charger, however, tries to recharge a completely discharged battery with a low current and resumes normal charging once sufficient voltage has built up across the battery terminals.
