The Shelly Pro 3EM is a precise 3-phase power consumption meter that connects easily via Wi-Fi, LAN or Bluetooth. With an impressive measurement accuracy of 1%, it monitors the energy consumption of all your household and work appliances individually, giving you comprehensive control and optimization. It stores this data for up to 60 days, delivering detailed readings every minute. Unlike the Shelly 3EM, the Pro has an intelligent scripting function, offers extended data and control functions and an improved firmware platform. In addition, the energy meter can calculate the energy flow in both directions - energy produced as well as energy consumed for each of the 3 phases. It also shows you the quality of your power grid by providing values for active power, reactive power, voltage and power factor.

Two-way energy consumption monitoring
The Pro 3EM helps you avoid unnecessary costs and voltage drops that could damage your devices. It calculates both the energy produced and the energy consumed for each of the three phases and can monitor three separate circuits in a single-phase system. In addition, it shows you the quality of your power grid, including active power, reactive power, voltage and power factor. This way you always have an overview and protect your equipment effectively.
Intelligent control for your home
With the energy meter's scripting capabilities and webhooks you can easily control other Shelly or Wi-Fi devices in your local network. Use these functions to define precise settings for heating, cooling or charging your electric car based on your PV generation. Your devices are thus automatically decoupled from power consumption and managed more smartly - entirely without a cloud connection. This reduces costs, saves energy and optimizes your daily life effortlessly.

The Shelly supports MODBUS for accurate recording of voltage, current, power and energy consumption. You get precise measured values and instantaneous values to monitor your energy consumption optimally. Thanks to the firmware platform you can make individual adjustments and send current data to your infrastructure every 100ms. This way you always keep an overview and benefit from smart energy control.
Solar panels and your system at a glance
With the energy meter you can easily track how much energy your solar panels generate. It provides real-time information on your system as well as historical data on energy generated and consumed. This way you keep the energy flow in view at all times and maximize the performance of your PV system.

The Shelly provides security through mTLS for MQTT, HTTP and secure WebSockets. This means you can connect directly and securely to your cloud infrastructure without having to set up expensive and complex networks or VPNs. This makes your energy grid not only smarter, but also more secure and cost-efficient.
