TRINNITY BW buffer tanks are designed for collecting, storing and transporting excess heating water or other liquids approved for contact with steel, coming from various heat sources: central heating boilers, solar collectors, heat pumps, etc. Buffer tanks protect the central heating system. - They take over the difference between the thermal output of the boiler and the power delivered to the heating system. They are made of black sheet steel. The thermal insulation of the buffer tanks consists of a 25 mm thick layer of polystyrene foam. The thermal insulation is covered with a jacket made of thin sheet steel coated with powder paint, and the upper and lower covers are made of ABS plastic. The tanks are pressure devices suitable for operation in a vertical position with a maximum water pressure of 0.3 MPa (3 bar).
