    The Enphase IQ8-MC is one of the latest models of Enphase microinverters. This series is characterized by exceptionally high efficiency, which enables maximum energy production from solar panels. This generation of inverters is known for the highest energy production and reliability on the market.

    An important feature of the Enphase IQ8 microinverters is the presence of integrated MC4 connectors, which allow for easy and quick installation via a click-and-play system on the roof.

    Rapid shutdown function

    The IQ8-MC microinverters have a rapid shutdown function that meets the strictest safety standards. Unlike many string inverters, the IQ8-MC microinverters have an integrated safety switch. This means that the IQ8 microinverters meet the highest safety requirements in the event of a fire.

    In situations where the AC power source is interrupted, such as by an AC switch or power failure, the IQ8-MC microinverter automatically activates the quick shutdown function.

    Enphase IQ8-MC Burst Mode Technology

    The IQ8 microinverters also feature Burst Mode technology, an innovative feature that ensures the inverter performs optimally even in low sunlight or high temperatures.

    Burst Mode continuously analyzes the voltage output during each AC cycle - which at a frequency of 60 Hz corresponds to 60 cycles per second. Every 1/60 of a second, Burst Mode performs a new calculation to determine the ideal output voltage.

    When the solar panels in the system deliver less than 30% of their maximum capacity, Burst Mode kicks in. The Enphase IQ8-MC microinverter stores the energy generated in integrated capacitors to ensure optimal efficiency even when solar radiation is reduced.

    Features IQ8-MC

    The Enphase IQ8-MC microinverters deliver a maximum power of 325 watts. However, it is possible to connect solar panels with a power of up to 480 watts peak, as the IQ8-MC limits this above 325 watts.

    The IQ8-MC microinverter is compatible with solar panels containing 54 (or 108 half), 60 (or 120 half) and 72 (or 144 half) cells.

    A microinverter is required for each individual solar panel.
